CrossControl introduces display computers with integrated Ethernet switch
Swedish manufacturer CrossControl has launched the CCpilot V1090 and V1290 display computers, which the company says are the first in the sector to feature an integrated Ethernet switch. The built-in switch eliminates the need for an external network switch in machines that use Ethernet for control, sensor or vision systems, reducing system cost and complexity. CrossControl says the displays are designed to consolidate functionality that was previously spread across separate devices – including sensors, precision systems, camera systems and ISOBUS – into a single unit.
