MDS will take part in CONEXPO 2026, bringing its flagship heavy-duty trommel, the M515, to the Terex stand (Silver Lot, booth S5435) at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

For the Irish screening specialist, the show comes at a significant time: the company, founded in 1995, is celebrating 30 years in business. Over three decades, MDS has grown from a small fabrication workshop into a globally recognised manufacturer known for innovation, durability and performance. CONEXPO will also be an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the distributor network and to enhance support for customers working in the most demanding material processing applications.

“This anniversary is not just about looking back, it’s about looking ahead. CONEXPO gives us the perfect opportunity to meet operators, distributors and customers across North America. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and discussing how our machines can continue to deliver value and reliability in the years ahead”

Said Steven Keenan, recently appointed General Manager.

From the spring, Liam Óg Murray will take up the role of dedicated Regional Sales Manager, based in the United States. In recent years, he has worked hands-on in the U.S. aggregate and recycling equipment market. Thanks to his familiarity with American applications and operating conditions, he is an important asset for the company as it continues to grow in the region.

The M515 Heavy Duty Trommel remains the cornerstone of the MDS portfolio and is recognised for its performance in processing tough, clay-bound and oversized material. The company highlights the robust drum design, the large hopper capacity and the ability to handle rock up to 31.5 in (800 mm), features that make it well-suited to rip rap production. MDS links this application to growing demand across North America, citing an increase in infrastructure upgrades, shoreline protection and riverbank stabilisation projects.

Operators value the machine for its ability to clean dirty shot rock, break down sticky material and turn what would traditionally be waste into a usable, saleable product.

MDS also highlights service and mobility features. According to the company, the swing-out engine and accessible service layout are designed to reduce downtime, while the compact transport configuration can offer a practical advantage for customers working across multiple sites.

“As the industry faces more complex material challenges and tighter operational demands, the M515 continues to stand out as a machine that simply gets the job done. Its strength, flexibility and proven capability make it a valuable asset for quarries across the region, and we’re proud to highlight it as part of our 30‑year celebration. I encourage visitors to meet our team and learn more about the portfolio at the Terex stand, Silver Lot S5435, throughout CONEXPO 2026”

Added Steven Keenan, recently appointed General Manager.

Between the anniversary milestone and a strong focus on the North American market, MDS’s presence at CONEXPO 2026 marks a key step, with the M515 taking centre stage at the show.
