IAA TRANSPORTATION: Stoneridge unveils EVO ECU platform for off-highway use
Stoneridge has unveiled its EVO electronic control unit (ECU) platform, a centralised electronics architecture built for commercial vehicles, buses, coaches and off-highway equipment, debuting it aboard its Innovation Truck at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Germany, which runs from 15-20 September. The platform is designed to simplify vehicle electronics as more advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), camera-based, connectivity and software-driven functions are adopted across commercial and off-highway machinery. Its rugged, automotive-grade design has been engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, vibration and continuous operation, which Stoneridge says makes it well suited to a wide range of vehicle applications beyond trucks and buses, including off-highway equipment.
