DAF Trucks has introduced a limited-edition XG+ 530 model at RTX 2025 in Stoneleigh, marking three decades as the UK’s best-selling truck brand. The ‘UK30 Special Edition’ features a metallic green finish and subtle Union Flag details. Unveiled today at stand B1, the model highlights DAF’s ongoing presence in the UK transport sector rather than a commemorative focus.

Built at Leyland Trucks, where all DAF vehicles for the UK market are produced, the UK30 Special Edition also reflects the brand’s long-standing manufacturing footprint in the country. A Union Flag graphic appears on the upper bunk, underlining its local roots. Inside, the cab features upgraded elements such as Xtra leather air seats and a revised upper bunk, combining practical enhancements with appeal for collectors.

“he UK30 Special Edition unit represents the very pinnacle of the New Generation DAF range, with an exclusive touch which will have huge appeal for the discerning truck driver. We’ve maintained market leadership for 30-years, representing an astonishing achievement for any vehicle manufacturer, and it brings us great pride in being able to mark the occasion with this ultra-special truck.”
said Phil Moon, Marketing Manager.

Only 30 commemorative XG+ models will be built, anticipating a rapid rush for orders. Customers can choose from four versatile tractor configurations:
- FTS 6×2 with twin-wheeled tag axle
- FTG 6×2 twin-steer/pusher
- FTN 6×2 rear-steer
- FT 4×2
Initial customer interest has been strong, with several loyal DAF operators already securing their allocation. The remaining production slots, for delivery later in 2025, are expected to fill quickly after the truck’s public debut at RTX.
