Volvo CE to open crawler excavator plant in Sweden

Volvo CE will be making another major investment in Europe. Earlier this year, the company announced that a major plant will open in Sweden as part of its ambitions to strengthen its position in the excavator segment. The 30,000-square-metre Eskilstuna facility will meet the growing European demand by increasing the capacity and flexibility. It will also reduce reliance on long-distance logistics, enable shorter delivery times, and improve the supply chain resilience by reducing carbon emissions.  Production capacity at the new Sweden-based plant
