New Bobcat T650 Compact Track Loader Enters Production With Stage V Engine

Bobcat has started production of its new T650 compact track loader at the company’s manufacturing plant in Dobris, Czech Republic, adding a Stage V-compliant model to its compact equipment range.

The new machine combines the proven capabilities of Bobcat’s 600-frame M-Series platform with updated engine technology and a configuration designed for demanding applications, from truck loading and pallet handling to earthmoving work.

At the centre of the T650 is a 2.4-litre Bobcat engine delivering 55 kW, or 74 HP. According to the company, the machine meets Stage V emissions requirements without the need for AdBlue, a detail that simplifies operation for users working across busy jobsites and mixed equipment fleets.

The loader is built around a robust steel frame and an efficient cooling system. Its vertical lift path supports lifting and loading tasks, while a rated operating capacity of 1,192 kg gives the machine the strength required for materials handling and site preparation work.

Versatility is also central to the T650’s positioning. The compact track loader is designed to work with Bobcat’s attachment portfolio through the company’s proprietary Bob-Tach mounting system, which allows operators to change attachments quickly. Optional High-Flow hydraulics further extend the machine’s ability to handle more demanding applications.

Bobcat has also equipped the T650 with Machine IQ telematics as standard. The system provides machine data that can help operators and fleet managers monitor performance, optimize utilization and keep equipment working efficiently.

Despite its compact footprint, the T650 has been designed with visibility and operator comfort in mind. A forward-positioned cab and fully transparent door give operators a direct view of the attachment and work area, while LED working lights support productivity when natural light is reduced.

With production now underway in Dobris, the T650 brings together compact dimensions, attachment flexibility, Stage V compliance and standard telematics in a machine aimed at jobsites where space is limited but capability remains essential.
