CS Retail Construções, a Portuguese company specialised in civil construction, has a wide range of Develon machinery, with various excavator models: DX27, DX50, DX63, DX85, DX140LCR, DX300, two DX190Ws and the company has now added a new DD130 dozer from Develon. The DD130 is a medium-sized dozer designed for manoeuvring in tight spaces and operating on larger sites. It is suited for pushing, filling, and levelling land in construction projects, public works, and road maintenance.

Low Fuel Consumption – Light, Fast, Rigorous in its Work and Compact

Joel Pereira emphasizes the machine’s low fuel consumption, attributing it to its lightweight design, which makes it well-suited for its intended tasks. He describes it as a cost-effective and efficient machine with a good work pace. The DD130 is not designed for continuous eight-hour shifts but is intended for specific tasks. Pereira also notes that they are still uncovering its capabilities, such as its sensitivity, and plan to enhance its functionality by equipping it with an automatic laser system.

“Previously we subcontracted for finishing tasks, we had a service provider to do this type of work. We do between 100,000 and 150,000 m² of paving per year and the idea with this machine is to finish and smooth the surfaces to apply the slabs on top. The acquisition of this machine provides us with a service with immediate response that we now have and that we did not have before – now we do not depend on anyone else. “

The compact machine will work inside an industrial basement and does not need much space to manoeuvre, it is agile and offers good visibility with a perfect panoramic field of vision for the operator.

The front engine compartment features a narrow design that allows operators to more easily see the work they are doing. For added visibility and safety, a standard rear camera provides additional insight into the dozer’s surrounding environment. The 8-inch colour Smart Touch screen displays images captured by the machine’s rear camera. High-illumination LED lights are also standard.

Less Downtime

The new Develon DD130 dozer provides a productive grading solution for construction projects. Its technologies offer greater accuracy to help meet exacting specifications. A 2D grading system (Dozer Blade Assistant) allows for highly accurate grading. The operator programs the necessary data and the machine controls the blade functions to finish the job quickly and with greater precision.

The DD130 offers a high level of comfort in the cab. The operator has full control over the machine through two fully electronic joysticks with precise and smooth movements. The seat and joysticks move together via its air suspension system to absorb all vibrations.

Its standard telematics system allows machines to be monitored and serviced remotely. The status, location and productivity of the dozer can be monitored from a user-friendly app or website. The dealer can also view the status of the equipment and notify customers when maintenance is due to help reduce non-productive time.
