Its rear height is lowered by 100mm, compared with the previous generation, and counterweight is increased by 300kg. There’s an integrated camera for improved safety and convenience and the cab is equipped with HD monitors and cameras. Rounding out the ergonomic cab are deluxe seats, large heated mirrors, a button start feature, emergency stop devices, and joystick operation, all designed to elevate operator comfort and control. The advanced, fully electro-hydraulic control system ensures smooth and precise operation, offering 10 working modes, auto power boost, boom and arm shock reduction, boom descent speed control, and priority functions for boom and swing. These features enhance productivity and ease of maintenance. Cutting-edge smart capabilities feature, including optional packages such as Dig Assist and Volvo Active Control. Safety-focused features like the human-object recognition alarm system and Volvo Smart View further optimise functionality and on-site safety. Hojin Kang – Head of Technology Changwon, expressed confidence in the newly enhanced and powerful New Generation EC300, emphasising its potential to maintain and increase Volvo's strong brand reputation and meet the evolving needs of the Korean construction equipment market.
