Driving India’s Green Revolution

On the occasion of World EV Day 2025, Mr. Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, shared his perspective on the evolving landscape of India’s electric vehicle (EV) industry and its role in driving sustainable mobility.

“On this World EV Day, I extend greetings to the business community and startups driving green mobility,” said Mr. Narang. “Over the past year, India’s EV sector has moved from experimentation to consolidation, with stronger players and sustainable models emerging. It is encouraging to see the BJP-led government and leaders like CM Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh unveiling progressive EV policies, infrastructure incentives, and skill programs to make India a global EV hub.”

According to Mr. Narang, the next phase of India’s EV growth will be led by electric three-wheelers — both passenger and cargo — and new-age electric trucks, particularly in the 1–1.5 ton category. These vehicles are expected to be the real drivers of clean last-mile and mid-mile logistics, powering a more sustainable and efficient transportation ecosystem.

“The future of mobility is about building green businesses that deliver value to society, the economy, and the planet,” he emphasized. “Together, we must accelerate this journey towards a cleaner tomorrow.”

Omega Seiki Mobility continues to focus on innovation, sustainability, and practical solutions for India’s growing EV market. Through strategic partnerships, cutting-edge technology, and a commitment to clean mobility, the company is playing a key role in shaping a greener future for the country.

As the EV ecosystem in India matures, insights from industry leaders like Mr. Narang highlight the importance of supportive policies, infrastructure development, and entrepreneurial innovation in accelerating the adoption of electric mobility solutions.
