Discover’s production and assembly in Vietnam now manufactures the company’s full Dry Cell AGM brand product portfolio, covering all models required in aerial work platforms, from 6V to 12V and up to 390 Amp hour C20. Complementing its original plant in China, the Vietnam site doubles global production capacity for Dry Cell AGM, enabling the shipment of over 1 million lead-acid batteries per month for various battery applications worldwide.

Discover Battery’s manufacturing facility in Vietnam operates in line with Level A environmental standards and complies with the European Directive 2023/1542, ensuring its batteries meet the sustainability and regulatory criteria required for the EU market. Backed by 70 years of industry experience, the company has developed proprietary quality control protocols that go beyond standard practices, including advanced automation, stringent material inspections, and real-time SPC monitoring. Each battery is engineered for specific industrial uses, with full lifecycle support to guarantee consistent performance. AWP and MEWPs markets, traditionally dominated by flooded lead-acid (FLA) batteries, are experiencing a fast shift toward AGM thanks to its advantages.

In an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery, in fact, the electrolyte, which circulates freely in a traditional flooded lead-acid (FLA) battery, is absorbed and immobilised within fine layers of fiberglass. The result is a battery that is:
