Over 140,000 visitors, 2,000 exhibitors and more than 3 million square metres of exhibition space: CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 wrapped up on March 7 in Las Vegas, bringing together manufacturers, contractors and rental companies from around the world.
Held March 3-7, the show attracted construction professionals from 128 countries. The event’s scale once again made it a key stop for anyone tracking North America’s equipment market, with exhibitors covering earthmoving, lifting, roadbuilding, aggregates, attachments, components and jobsite technologies.
Across the show floor, the focus was on new equipment and solutions designed to help contractors “build more efficiently, safely and sustainably”.
“CONEXPO-CON/AGG is where the construction industry comes to see what’s next”
Said Dana Wuesthoff, show director, in the post-show statement. A chance to see new machines up close and follow the latest updates, especially around technology, automation and sustainability, as well as to meet people face to face and move commercial discussions forward.

HeavyQuip attended the show and tracked a selection of equipment and technology highlights across the week.
Komatsu, for instance, highlighted its PC220LCi-12 intelligent excavator, which uses integrated sensors and 3D design data to help operators excavate to grade with greater precision and reduce rework. The OEM also introduced the HM460-6 46-ton articulated truck, described as the largest in its lineup. LiuGong showcased machines including the 870 HE Loader, 952F excavator and the 924 FE Electric Excavator, pointing to the industry’s growing investment in electrification and lower-emissions equipment.
Jobsite technology providers also used the week to demonstrate how digital tools are reshaping workflows. Topcon Positioning Systems presented 3D-MC Edge, a new feature within the 3D-MC environment engineered to focus directly on a machine’s cutting edge for enhanced accuracy and responsiveness. Samsara showcased connected operations technology designed to help contractors monitor equipment utilisation, safety, and fleet performance across job sites, while Doka highlighted formwork and digital job-site solutions aimed at improving efficiency and safety on complex infrastructure and building projects. Bobcat also brought its Jobsite Companion to the show, described as an AI-enabled system designed to support operators with real-time machine insights and jobsite guidance.
The week’s technology focus was also reflected in the Next Level Awards. After three days of voting, show attendees selected Husco’s GenSteer as the Contractors’ Choice for best equipment and Gravis Robotics’ Gravis Rack as the Contractors’ Choice for best technology.
The Ground Breakers Stage hosted sessions on artificial intelligence, workforce development, infrastructure investment, sustainability and the growing role of data across construction operations. The programme looked at how digital transformation, manufacturing advances and partnerships are reshaping the sector. The sessions are now available on demand and have already generated thousands of views, extending the discussion beyond the show floor.

Conexpo 2026 highlighted construction’s continued weight in the wider economy, with a programme that tracked the big themes shaping contractors’ decisions: infrastructure renewal, energy build-out, manufacturing capacity and the push for more resilient communities.
On the ground, the show still did what it does best: put contractors, dealers and manufacturers in the same place. The education programme ran alongside the equipment displays. Organisers scheduled 150 sessions, supported by live demos and peer discussions, with content aimed at turning broad trends into choices that work for different types of business, from small fleets to large contractors.
Looking ahead
The next CONEXPO-CON/AGG is set for March 13 to 17, 2029. If 2026 is a guide, the conversation will keep shifting toward productivity, workforce constraints and technology that can prove its value on real jobsites.
