Bobcat has recently launched over 20 new generators, with prime power outputs ranging from 20 to 1650 kVA. Designed and manufactured in the MEA region, they are intended for the African and Middle Eastern market.
The new products feature large airflow and robust components, ensuring excellent heat resistance. Additionally, local manufacturing helps reduce transportation and customs costs.

The new Bobcat generator range is built to serve a wide spectrum of uses, from construction, rental, industrial and agricultural jobs to home standby systems, telecom sites, and backup power for businesses of any size. Six smaller and more compact models, with power outputs ranging from 20 to 165 kVA, are powered by Yanmar engines up to 60 kVA or Volvo engines.
The main innovation lies in the more than 20 new medium and large models. These generators are equipped with HD Infracore engines, in some cases, and a new range of Yuchai engines has been introduced. This addition expands customer choice, pushing the maximum output from 850 kVA to 1650 kVA.
“The most popular generators in MEA are the 100, 200, 500 and 1000 kVA machines and the new range now fully covers these sizes”.
Said Matus Gejdos, Portable Power Product Manager at Bobcat EMEA, and goes on to assure that the durability of the units was validated by extensive testing under typical Middle Eastern conditions for thousands of hours, at temperatures above 40 °C and different loads.
