Starting January 1st 2026, Christian Hallbjörner assumed the role of CFO at Volvo CE. Not the only update: Malin Norman has been appointed Head of People & Culture, effective March 1, 2026.
Christian Hallbjörner, previously Senior Vice President, will take on the role of Head of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2026. He succeeds Klara Eiritz, who will move on to a new assignment outside Volvo CE.

This was the first statement from Melker Jernberg, Head of Volvo CE. Hallbjörner brings 15 years of experience within Volvo Financial Services, Volvo Trucks, and Volvo Penta.
Malin Norman will assume the role of Head of People & Culture
Malin Normanwill also take on a new role as Head of People & Culture. She will succeed Ann-Sofie Räftegård, who, after more than six years in the position, will assume a new role as Senior Transformation Lead at Volvo CE. The appointment takes effect on March 1, 2026.

Says Head of Volvo CE. Now both Christian and Malin will join the Volvo CE Executive Management Team and will be based in Eskilstuna, reporting directly to Melker Jernberg.
