Infocus International Announces Online EPC Contracts Course for Energy Projects (June and November 2026)

Infocus International is organising an online course on EPC Contracts for Energy Industries in June and November 2026. The topic will be a comprehensive analysis of EPC contracts and of the key considerations in projects and disputes where such contracts are used.

The course provides an in-depth analysis of EPC contracts, their interface with other project documents and their role in the project lifecycle. It discusses key risk allocation issues, and the structuring of the contract in a project financing context. Delegates will be introduced to the key terms and negotiation issues in EPC arrangements, the role and incorporation of technical details, and the impact of project specifications in EPC arrangements.

The course will be held online over 5 sessions:
Dates Option 1: 17, 18, 22, 23, 25 June 2026, 11 am – 3 pm GMT
Dates Option 2: 12, 16, 17, 18, 19 November 2026, 7 am – 11 am GMT

The course is designed to work both as an introduction and as an advanced deep dive into EPC contracting. For newcomers, it offers a practical toolkit on how EPC contracts are structured, the main risk and commercial terms, and how owners, contractors and lenders typically approach them. It also covers where disputes most often arise during the construction phase and how to manage issues before they escalate. For experienced professionals, the programme moves into masterclass territory, tackling the commercial and technical hot spots shaping EPC projects today.

1. Legal framework
2. Bankability issues and project structuring
3. Administering EPC contracts
