Can you share how the company has evolved over the years and the key factors behind its success in the manufacturing sector?

Ace Designers Ltd began its journey in 1979 as a design consultancy firm. Over time, it evolved into a machine manufacturer and has grown to become India’s largest machine tool company, providing complete machining solutions.

We have built a strong ecosystem to cater to customer needs holistically — from training and installation to after-sales support and service. At Ace Designers, we have always believed in co-creating with customers, a mantra that has been instrumental in our success and growth in the manufacturing sector.

What are some of the recent technological advancements or projects that Ace Designers Limited has undertaken to improve efficiency and productivity?

As the manufacturing sector expands, customer expectations around quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) are also rising. We have made our machines smart with IIOT offerings that can connecting them to create intelligent networked systems, get data on their performance, help in maintenance. Our range has increased to suit specific segments, performance levels has been enhanced by suitable process engineering, work holding etc. We now have a complete range of technology machining solutions across turning, milling, grinding and metal 3D printing

To address the cost and delivery perspectives, we are continuously working on our internal process to increase productivity, leverage our scale for smooth product flow, and bottleneck elimination, enabling higher throughput and efficiency.

Could you tell us about any strategic partnerships, research initiatives, or innovations your team is currently working on?

We are constantly working on developmental work to bring cost effective high-speed spindles, multi-axis machining, IoT-driven digitization, and automation to meet the evolving needs of customers like aerospace, EVs, precision parts etc. We are also looking at extending our global foot print and setting up offices in Mexico & UAE.

What products, capabilities, or innovations will Ace Designers Limited be highlighting at the event?

Although we are not physically showcasing products at this year’s India Manufacturing Show (IMS), our focus is on promoting collaboration between government, academia, and industry. We believe such partnerships are crucial for making India truly self-reliant in R&D, innovation, and import substitution.

what is your vision for Ace Designers Limited in the next 5–10 years, and how do you see the Indian manufacturing sector evolving globally?

Ace Designers Limited is on track to become a billion-dollar company by 2029 -30, with a goal of achieving 25% of its turnover through exports.

The Indian manufacturing sector is witnessing strong opportunities in electronics, defence, aerospace, EVs, and medical devices. The government’s flagship initiatives such as PLI, PM MITRA, the National Manufacturing Mission, and Skill India are further accelerating this transformation.

With sustained GDP growth, robust domestic demand, and a favourable policy environment, India is well on its way to becoming one of the most attractive global manufacturing destinations in the coming decade.
