Turkey’s First Grove GMK6450-1 Gets Delivered to Bizim Vinç, Industrial Services Company

Bizim Vinç, a Turkish industrial services company, has taken delivery of the first Grove GMK6450-1 all-terrain crane in Turkey for its equipment rental division. The crane will support upcoming infrastructure projects and will initially be deployed on the construction of the new highway in the Sazlı Bosna area of Istanbul for contractor Rönesans.

The construction of the new highway requires a crane design well-suited for working in confined spaces and with demanding conditions.

“Thanks to the crane’s compact design and advanced technology, we can now carry out challenging lifting tasks in confined spaces with greater efficiency. Beyond the operational benefits, this machine has also enhanced our reputation in the market and increased our visibility among customers.”

Said Mahmut Efek, owner of Bizim Vinç.

Bizim Vinc take delivery of Turkey’s first Grove GMK6450-1

Bizim Vinç specified its GMK6450-1 with some advanced features, including the MAXbase™ variable outrigger positioning system and the self-rigging MegaWingLift™ attachment, designed to boost lifting capacity and improve flexibility on site. Together, these options give the crane the strength and versatility needed for more complex lifting applications.

The new addition joins a Grove fleet that already includes GMK5250XL-1 and GMK5150XL models, further strengthening Bizim Vinç’s ability to deliver a wide range of lifting solutions as it continues to grow its mobile crane business. Support for the Grove fleet is handled by Karun Makina, with aftersales service manager Cihan Bektaş overseeing service activities.

Alongside Karun Makina’s parts supply and service support, Bizim Vinç also benefits from Manitowoc’s broader aftermarket portfolio, which includes training, digital solutions, EnCORE™ refurbishment programs, and used equipment sales.

At the current jobsite, the GMK6450-1 has been used to lift formwork for viaduct construction. Looking ahead, the crane is expected to support hangar installation works at İGA Istanbul Airport, as well as upgrade projects at a cement plant operated by Limak Holding.
