BC Trucking Association’s Clean Carrier Program celebrates successful first year
The BC Trucking Association (BCTA)'s Clean Carrier Program has reported substantial progress in lowering fuel consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions among participating trucking companies. Data collected from the first year of the program shows an impressive 35 percent to 41 percent reduction in fuel consumption and corresponding emissions for companies that adopted a comprehensive suite of fuel-saving technologies compared to those using minimal technology.
