Tecno Gru to Debut Raimondi’s New TTC 70 Telecrawler at SaMoTer 2026

Tecno Gru, the long-time Italian dealer for Terex rough terrain cranes, will showcase a new machine at SaMoTer 2026 in Verona: the TTC 70 telecrawler crane. SaMoTer runs 6–9 May 2026 at VeronaFiere and is widely regarded as Italy’s reference exhibition for construction equipment and earthmoving machinery, with a strong focus on live demonstrations and jobsite technology.

Raimondi’s Terex deal reshapes the rough terrain business

The TTC 70 launch lands during a major transition for the brand in Europe. In September 2025, Terex announced an agreement to sell its Tower Cranes and Rough Terrain Cranes businesses to Raimondi Cranes SpA, including manufacturing operations in Fontanafredda (tower cranes) and Crespellano (rough terrain), plus the North American cranes support operation in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The acquisition completed in November 2025, and the rough terrain activity has since been positioned as a Raimondi business division, with Crespellano confirmed as the industrial base for the segment.

Returning to crawlers with a new telecrawler line

Under the new structure, Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, a Raimondi business division, is re-entering the crawler segment with a fresh product line. The first model is the TTC 70, designed, engineered and manufactured at the group’s rough terrain headquarters in Crespellano, Bologna. Additional models are planned to follow, making the TTC 70 the foundation of a broader telecrawler family.

In April 2026, Raimondi hosted construction media at the Crespellano facility for an initial look at the TTC 70, highlighting the site’s role as the production hub for the new crawler range.

Raimondi’s new TTC 70 telecrawler crane, engineered by Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, will be showcased at SaMoTer 2026 by Italian dealer Tecno Gru.

What the TTC 70 is built to do

The TTC 70 marks the Group’s entry into the telecrawler segment, pairing a telescopic boom with a crawler undercarriage. The goal is to blend mobility and placement flexibility with stable lifting performance in conditions that can challenge wheeled machines.

According to the company, the model targets complex and confined jobsites, aiming to deliver fast setup, solid lifting capability and consistent operation on uneven ground. A compact footprint, safety systems and operator-focused controls are positioned as key parts of the package, with intended applications spanning infrastructure and industrial lifting work.

Executive and dealer comments

“The unveiling of the TTC 70 marks a pivotal moment for Raimondi as we continue to evolve into a fully integrated, multi-segment lifting solutions provider, meeting the evolving needs of the global lifting industry. The expansion into the crawler crane segment reflects our commitment to innovation and diversification, while building on a strong engineering heritage and extending our global footprint.”

Said Luigi Maggioni, Chief Executive Officer, Raimondi Group.

Tecno Gru, based in northern Italy and active across rough terrain and all terrain cranes, telescopic handlers and access platforms, will act as the Italian showcase partner at SaMoTer.

“We are proud to be the first company to bring Raimondi Group’s latest innovation to the Italian market, reinforcing a long-standing partnership built on technical expertise and a deep understanding of local industry requirements,”

Stated Andrea Pavoni, Head of Sales, Tecno Gru.

SaMoTer 2026: Italy’s key construction equipment show

Hosted in Verona on a triennial cycle, SaMoTer brings together OEMs, component suppliers, and contractors across the earthmoving and construction equipment spectrum. The 2026 edition is positioned by organisers as a larger, more international show, with expanded technical and demo-oriented content across indoor and outdoor areas.

Tecno Gru will present the TTC 70 in the outdoor exhibition area at Stand 1, Area C (VeronaFiere), where visitors can inspect the crane at close range during the four-day event.
