Simex has introduced the D-BLADE 200, a floor saw attachment designed for cutting asphalt and concrete in road construction and utility installation applications.
Presented at SaMoTer 2026, the D-BLADE 200 was named winner in the Attachments category at the SaMoTer Innovation Award 2026. The award recognised the diamond cutting disc for skid steer loaders for bringing a very high level of productivity to a type of equipment that was already considered mature and well established.
The new model is intended for micro-trenching, fiber optic cable installation and expansion joint creation, with a cutting depth of up to 220 mm. According to the company, the attachment has been developed to support precise cutting operations in demanding job-site conditions.
The D-BLADE 200 works with segmented diamond blades for wet cutting. This configuration is designed to improve blade cooling, reduce wear and produce cleaner, more consistent cuts. The wet cutting system also helps limit dust dispersion, improving visibility and safety during operation.
Key features include a cutting depth of up to 220 mm, a segmented diamond blade for wet cutting, a quick blade replacement system, a front direction indicator for improved accuracy, an opening front guard for vertical cuts, and suitability for asphalt, concrete and compact surfaces.
With the D-BLADE 200, Simex continues to strengthen its range of equipment for no-dig applications, particularly for the installation and maintenance of underground utility networks with reduced impact on existing road surfaces.
The attachment adds a compact cutting solution to the company’s portfolio for road construction, infrastructure maintenance and utility works.
