Simex, an Italian manufacturer of attachments for earthmoving machines, has confirmed it will exhibit at SaMoTer 2026, the 32nd edition of Italy’s main construction equipment trade fair. The show runs from 6 to 9 May 2026 at Veronafiere in Verona.
For Simex, 2026 also marks 35 years in business. The company was founded in 1991 in San Giovanni in Persiceto, near Bologna, and has built its product portfolio across roadworks and utilities, as well as attachments used in demolition and material recycling.
“Celebrating 35 years of activity means looking back with pride at the journey we have undertaken, but above all continuing to invest in innovation, people, and relationships to face future challenges.”
said Mirco Risi, CEO of Simex.
At SaMoTer, the company will showcase a mix of established technologies and newer product lines, with a focus on on-site processing and jobsite efficiency.
ART 1000 Asphalt Repair Technology
One of the headline systems is ART 1000 (Asphalt Repair Technology), a patented method designed to regenerate deteriorated asphalt directly on site using cold processing. Simex positions the concept around reusing the milled material already present on the road surface, avoiding the need to haul away spoil and bring in new mix for small-area repairs.
ART 1000 has previously been highlighted by SaMoTer in the Innovation Award context as a cold asphalt regeneration approach aimed at repairing minor road damage with immediate reopening in typical patching scenarios.

VSE Tornado Screening Buckets
Simex will also present the VSE Tornado screening buckets, a new range aimed at mini and midi excavators from 1.5 to 10 tonnes. The design targets material separation directly on site, including in wet or damp conditions, using a multi-shaft configuration with star-shaped screening elements to improve material movement through the bucket.
A notable maintenance feature is the quick-change system that allows replacement of the full shaft or individual screening elements, intended to reduce downtime on site.

D-BLADE 200 Diamond Cutting Attachment
For cutting applications, Simex is putting forward the D-BLADE equipment within the SaMoTer Innovation Award framework, centred on the D-BLADE 200. The attachment is designed for concrete and asphalt cutting, with reported cutting depth up to 220 mm and a wet-cutting setup that includes an integrated 120-litre water tank to control dust and manage blade temperature.
Simex and third-party coverage describe typical uses such as straight cuts for asphalt removal, road repairs, manhole work, and utility installation tasks, including fibre optic cabling, where cleaner cuts can help reduce breakout and simplify reinstatement.

Where To Find Simex At The Show
Simex will exhibit in Hall 9, Stand B7 to B8.
