Repeat investment underscores trust in Liebherr’s 75 m boom flexibility, quality, and service.  www.liebherr.comCrane handover in Ehingen (from left to right): Tim Brückner, Heiko Brückner (both Rothmund GmbH und Montage), Joachim Sommer (Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH). Rothmund chose a very special design for the first LTM 1230-5.1 to mark the company's 40th anniversary in 2021: gold lettering on a black background. The same design also graces the fourth LTM 1230-5.1 in the Rothmund fleet. In 2020, Rothmund ordered the first LTM 1230-5.1, at a time when the Coronavirus crisis was crippling many areas of society. Just six months later, the second model followed. The company now has four. “We’ve bought our now fourth LTM 1230-5.1 because this crane simply represents the ideal concept for us. With the variable VarioBase® support, along with the variable VarioBallast® ballast radius and different ballast variations, we’re able to use it on a vast range of jobs. Added to this are its high lifting capacities and very long 75-metre telescopic boom”, explains Managing Director Heiko Brückner. “The LTM 1230-5.1 is a real all-rounder and, thanks to its flexibility, is hugely popular - including for concrete and steel construction, tower crane assemblies and industrial jobs.” Ten Liebherr cranes in five years Since 2021, Rothmund has taken delivery of no fewer than ten new Liebherr mobile cranes. “Aside from the quality and high resale prices, the excellent support is what makes us choose Liebherr. Customer service is professional and speedy, just like the spare parts supply. And one thing that’s really important for us: the standardised operation of Liebherr cranes, whether they're large or small. This means we’re able to deploy our operators flexibly across all our cranes”, says Brückner. Since February of this year, Rothmund has also had a Liebherr LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane. It is mainly used for steel construction and prefabricated concrete part assemblies, as well as serving as an auxiliary crane in the assembly of wind turbines. Rothmund GmbH was founded in the Pforzheim area in 1982 as a crane company. Customers’ demands grew so quickly that, after eighteen months, three cranes were in operation and five after five years. Today, the company operates more than 20. Over the years, the company has evolved into a service provider for heavy-duty and machinery transport, as well as business relocations. Meanwhile, its portfolio encompasses countless specialist vehicles such as heavy-duty crawler transporters, air cushion systems and loading cranes, as well as miniature crawler cranes. www.liebherr.com Powered by Induportals Media Publishing
