The powerful 4-axle crane not only enhances the company’s existing fleet but also marks a key step in modernising its 100-tonne class. The decision to invest in Liebherr was based on more than 20 years of trusted partnership – characterised by technical excellence and outstanding reliability. Peck Tiong Choon, a Singapore-based provider of lifting, transport and logistics solutions, has expanded its crane fleet with the addition of a Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1. The new mobile crane, with a lifting capacity of 120 tonnes and a 66-metre telescopic boom, is now the most powerful 4-axle model in the company’s fleet. “As part of our involvement in major projects like airport expansion, mass rapid transit (MRT) and other infrastructure developments, we decided to invest in the new LTM 1120-4.1. As the most powerful 4-axle crane on the market, it offers the capacity we need,” says Teow Seng Pay, Managing Director at Peck Tiong Choon Transport Pte Ltd and Peck Tiong Choon Logistics Pte Ltd, adding: “At the same time, it was the right moment to modernise our 100-tonne class.” Investment in performance and flexibility With the LTM 1120-4.1, the logistics provider continues to develop its fleet in a targeted way. In addition to twelve mobile cranes ranging from the LTM 1070-4.2 to the LTM 1750-9.1, the company also operates four crawler cranes of the LTR 1100 type.
