PALFINGER, a company specializing in lifting equipment, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TVS Mobility Group, one of the country’s leading providers of end-to-end mobility solutions. The key focus is to improve market access and create new opportunities in a growing market, where Indian demand for specialized lifting solutions is rising.
PALFINGER announces the strategic partnership at TVS Mobility Day 2026 in Mumbai
“TVS Mobility brings strong operational presence, infrastructure, and execution capabilities. This makes them a strong partner for us all over India. By combining strengths, we are expanding our footprint, improving parts availability and service responsiveness, and building a scalable platform for sustainable growth.”
As Andreas Klauser, CEO of PALFINGER, said. The collaboration is a key step in bringing PALFINGER’s Strategy 2030+ growth plans to life. Under this strategy, the company has set out a clear growth roadmap for the APAC region, with India identified as a key market. With projected revenues of up to EUR 300 million by 2030, including exports and aftersales, the region offers substantial long-term potential and is central to the Group’s global expansion ambitions.
Andreas Klauser, CEO of PALFINGER, and R. Dinesh, Director of TVS Mobility Group, after the signing of a MoU.
“This partnership builds on our existing relationship with PALFINGER and reinforces our role as an integrated mobility solutions provider supporting global equipment companies in India; we aim to enable faster go-to-market, operational efficiency.”

A key milestone in this strategic expansion was the opening of the Global Development Center (GDC) in Pune. The center integrates Indian engineering expertise into PALFINGER’s global R&D network. In line with the value creation principle “in the region, for the region,” the company is also moving ahead with plans to establish a manufacturing plant in the Ranjangaon industrial zone, near Pune.
