Our curated gift guide for the outdoor adventure lovers in your life.

Head outdoors! The following selection of gift suggestions (pulled from our larger 2025 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide) features American-made gifts for hunters, hikers, water enthusiasts, snow seekers and everyone in between. Whatever they’re into, the adventure lovers on your list are happiest when they’re outside doing something. And whether they’re chasing powder, chasing sunsets or chasing the dog that ran off with their fishing lure (hey, it happens!), these gifts are ready to follow them wherever their next adventure leads.

For the Hunters

South Dakota’s James Valley Company has earned a nationwide reputation among hunters for producing some of the finest lures and cover scents available. Each formula is handcrafted with premium materials to deliver proven results in the field. From deer and elk to bear and moose, these trusted scents have helped hunters create trophy-worthy moments for decades. Pair them with the company’s popular dog treats or Big John’s Ol’ West Barbeque Sauce for the ultimate outdoorsman’s gift.

Dedicated to making 100% Made in America hunting and outdoor clothing, Blackstock manufactures in North Carolina. This company spent years developing their proprietary camouflage design to provide the highest concealment possible. It’s also specific in its designs because the people behind Blackstock know what hunters need to be successful!

For the Love of Hunting is what FORLOH stands for, and it perfectly captures the brand’s passion for the outdoors. Based in Whitefish, Mont., FORLOH makes high-performance hunting and fishing apparel that is 100 percent sourced and made in the USA. From insulated jackets and waterproof pants to versatile base layers for all ages, each product is backed by a lifetime warranty that reflects the company’s commitment to quality.

In 2012 America first fell in love with the Robinsons, the reality TV stars of Duck Dynasty, which followed the family of southern outdoorsmen as they operated hunting gear company Duck Commander. The TV show’s run has ended but Duck Commander hasn’t, and its signature duck call is still Louisiana-made. A perfect gift for the duck hunter on your gift list.

For the Outdoor Explorers

In the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Burgeon Outdoor is providing jobs and growing the local economy. The company makes a point to source the materials for its athletic and outdoor apparel from the United States as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability. No matter the season, you’ll find appropriate gear for heading to nature from Burgeon!

This veteran-owned company based in Cleveland is on a mission to restore the Forest City’s textile heritage with  beanies like you’ve never worn before! Haakwear’s patented he H-stitch places the seam on the sides of your crown to streamline design and increase comfort.  That’s the kind of innovation that has defined American manufacturing from the start.

For the Backyard Crew

Is there anything more American than a grill? Americana Grills certainly doesn’t think so. Since 1959, this company (owned by the Meco corporation) has been making the majority of its classic grills’ components in Greeneville. You’ll love making burgers and hot dogs in the summer months (or, depending on how warm it is where you live, even in the winter!). In an environment where the manufacturing of many grills has been outsourced, Americana Grills is keeping it right here.

After losing his sales job during the 2008 financial crisis, Matt Skillman invested back into his passion of steelwork and art to create the first Ohio Flame firepit. Having learned welding from his Vietnam veteran uncle, he still hand-welds these firepits today with 100% U.S. made steel. These firepits are weather-resistant and built to last, and Ohio Flame offers free shipping across the U.S.!

Family-owned R&W Family Mercantile in Cheyenne, Wyo., makes its wares from wood collected in the mountains! From it, R&W creates decor, accessories, barn quilts and patterns for others to make themselves. Browse its extensive ornament collection. Mountain style at home, you’ll like it.

Did you know that cornhole is a professional sport? Cornhole players of any level or sobriety can appreciate the boards from Cornhole Solutions. Based in Talbott, Tenn., Cornhole Solutions sells boards intended for competition and more casual, backyard issues. They’re a little pricier, but these boards are built to last!

Blue Ridge Chair Works are handmade in Asheville. This portable outdoor furniture company has been handcrafting for over 30 years. They pride their product on being long-lasting and timeless, and source most of their wood from the northwestern part of the Tar Heel State.

For the Water Lovers

Are you dreaming of being on the water? Crescent Kayaks are the perfect way to get you out there. Based in Carrollton, Ga., these colorful and tactical kayaks are made with locally sourced materials. They also come a lot cheaper than other kayaks of similar quality. Crescent Kayaks doesn’t sell online, so you’ll need to find a dealer in the Southeast, Northeast or Midwest. If you live far away, not to worry! Some Crescent Kayak dealers will ship directly to your door! To learn more about Crescent Kayaks, check out our interview with founder James Derbecker on our blog.

It’s likely been a while since you swung by your local canoe store but chances are, they aren’t making anything like what’s coming out of Navarro Canoe‘s Illinois shop on the banks of the Mississippi River. This company makes beautiful boats, whether for the recreational paddler or the serious voyageur. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for: Quality.

For the Snow Seekers

Built by hand in Denver, Never Summer snowboards are as rugged and reliable as the mountains they’re made for. Each board combines innovative hybrid camber technology with decades of craftsmanship to deliver unmatched performance on the slopes. For anyone who lives for winter adventures, gifting a Never Summer board means giving them a piece of American-made precision built to ride season after season.

Winter is cozy sock season. And you can’t get cozier than the socks from American Made Alpaca. Made from (of course!) Alpaca wool, these socks are both comfortable and breathable, so they can serve multiple purposes. Plus, when you buy a pair, you’re also supporting a pigeon sanctuary in American Made Alpaca’s hometown of Pleasant Valley, N.Y. Cozy socks that support a good cause – can you ask for more?

Bonus: HotHands is the kind of product you might find in a truck stop or a convenience store – and on a cold day, it’s very convenient. Stick one of these pouches in your mittens or a work boot and it’ll keep you going when the temperature drops. The company recently expanded its Dalton, Ga. plant to increase its U.S. production. These are available at many retailers or on Amazon. (Featured in the 2023 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide).

For the Anglers

Part of the joy of fishing is certainly enjoying time out on the water, but, man, is it frustrating when you end the day without a single tug on your line. Thankfully, fishing technology has advanced well beyond just optimizing your rod. Humminbird of Eufaula, has been a leader in marine electronics for more than 50 years, delivering innovative, high-performance fish finders, chartplotters, and sonar systems trusted by anglers nationwide. Make your casting even more effective with Humminbird tech.

For the Kids (and Kids-at-Heart)

As seen on TV’s Shark Tank, kids bike manufacturer Guardian Bikes is very publicly committed to onshoring enough production to be a fully American-made brand. Right now it’s close; Guardian manufactures roughly 90% of its own bike parts in its southern Indiana facilities. The New York Times’ Wirecutter called its balance bike the best made of 2025.

Ghost Boards is a longboard and skateboard manufacturer based in Pleasant Grove. What sets them apart is their non-slip acrylic decks. Not all the products are Made in America as the company distributes for other skating brands, but everything listed as made by Ghost Boards or Jaseboards is Made in America (and they have plenty).

In western Wisconsin, Wyatt Bicycles is leading the return of American-made bikes. Founded by Wyatt Hrudka in 2011, the company handcrafts mountain and fat bikes from 100% U.S.-made aluminum, an uncommon stand in an industry where nearly all bikes are produced overseas. Built for performance and adventure, every frame reflects Wyatt’s belief that quality, integrity, and American manufacturing are worth the extra effort.
