Link-Belt Excavators will attend ConExpo 2026, introducing two brand new machines: the 245 X4S and 80 X4. The excavators, which will be shown at Booth F35043, were designed to improve fuel efficiency, enhance operator comfort and are implemented with advanced smart technology.

Link-Belt’s largest ConExpo exhibit to date will lean into the show’s “Here by Hard Work” theme with a dedicated technology zone centred on connectivity, AI and operator development. Visitors will be able to try two excavator simulators, designed to offer a hands-on feel for machine operation while showcasing how new digital tools are starting to shape day-to-day work on the jobsite.

The company will also roll out an expanded Precision Grade 3D lineup. The factory-ready package is aimed at simplifying the installation of machine guidance systems and will support 3D solutions from both Trimble and Topcon, allowing contractors to keep working with their preferred grade control platform.

Link-Belt Excavators at ConExpo 2023

Alongside its latest machine launches, the Link-Belt booth will put the spotlight on hands-on activities, including the crowd-pulling Excavator Showdown and the Pink-Belt Charity Auction.

The Excavator Showdown returns for its eighth year at ConExpo, giving operators the chance to test precision and control on a Link-Belt 220 X4S excavator. Sessions are scheduled daily at 10:00, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30, with trivia giveaways for attendees during each run. Operators will compete for the fastest time of the show. The overall winner takes home a $5,000 vacation and a Link-Belt Excavators championship belt, while daily winners receive $500 in cash.

Link-Belt has also organised a live charity auction at ConExpo, with proceeds earmarked for breast cancer awareness and support programmes. The sale is scheduled for Thursday, March 5 at 14:00, with bidding set to open at $75,000. At the centre of the auction is the Pink-Belt excavator, a 15.2-metric-ton Link-Belt 145 X4 that has toured across the United States over the past year as a rolling symbol of breast cancer awareness. Funds raised will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Yes, Mamm!, supported by CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations.

The auction will take place as part of Link-Belt’s presence at booth F35043. More details are available at lbxco.com/conexpo.
