Liebherr wheeled excavators win iF Design Award 2026
Liebherr has received the iF Design Award 2026 for its A 909 Compact and A 911 Compact Litronic wheeled excavators, with the machines recognised in the Product Design discipline under the Automobiles/Vehicles category. The two models, which were presented to the public for the first time at Bauma 2025, expand Liebherr’s wheeled excavator portfolio into the nine and eleven tonne classes. They were selected from more than 10,000 submissions from 68 countries by a jury of 129 independent design professionals.
