Epiroc will exhibit at Samoter 2026 in Verona, Hall 10 – Stand 03, from 5 to 9 May, showcasing a selection of its latest solutions: upgraded equipment, advanced tools and connectivity systems designed to raise productivity, safety and sustainability on customers’ job sites.

The highlight of the stand will be the next-generation SmartROC T40, one of the best-known rigs on the market. The unit features the new cab, recently unveiled at bauma, and reflects direct input from operators, with a clear focus on comfort and safety. In Italy, the SmartROC T40 is also Epiroc’s best-selling rig in its segment.

Visitors will also be able to explore Epiroc’s broad range of drilling tools and speak with specialists about @Your Service, the company’s full aftersales offering covering expertise, genuine parts, rebuild programs and tailored service contracts, for reliable end-to-end support throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Equipment on show: SmartROC T40 (new generation)

Already recognised for its productivity and fuel efficiency, the SmartROC T40 takes a further step forward with a new cab designed to deliver a more comfortable and safer operating experience. Quieter, with reduced vibration, and built to feel lighter and more spacious, the cab improves day-to-day working conditions for the operator.

A number of new functions also bring a tangible safety benefit: several operations can now be managed directly from inside the cab, limiting exposure to external hazards and giving the operator better control throughout the drilling process.

Among the most notable options is blast-resistant glass, designed to protect against debris projected during operations. The large glazed surface also improves visibility across the drilling area and the top of the feed, supporting more accurate and safer work.

@Your Service: expanded aftersales support

Epiroc is strengthening its aftersales portfolio with a comprehensive range of services aimed at improving productivity, safety and sustainability for drilling equipment. From immediate availability of genuine spare parts to widespread technical assistance, Epiroc support covers the entire life cycle of the machine.

The new Cesano Maderno facility, with a fully equipped workshop, spare parts warehouse and training centre, is positioned as the operational hub for a service model built around customer needs.

Care Maintenance Agreements provide scheduled interventions and continuous updates, while Midlife programs extend equipment life through regeneration and overhaul, with circular solutions designed to reduce environmental impact. A dedicated repair centre also delivers specialist overhauls of hydraulic drilling rigs, restoring them to original specifications.

The CES (Customised Engineering Solutions) department develops bespoke modifications and technology upgrades, helping customers improve performance, quality and operational sustainability. The offer is completed by advanced training programs, using simulators, virtual reality and field training to help operators and maintenance teams maximise efficiency and safety when working with Epiroc equipment.

Epiroc will also display its drilling tools range, developed through long experience across all rock types and supported by advanced simulation technologies and high-performance materials. The line-up includes DTH 5 hammers, designed to deliver operational versatility and strong competitiveness, alongside the latest-generation PCD drill bits, developed to increase productivity, safety and sustainability. According to Epiroc, these solutions can reduce environmental impact by up to 90%. The tools are designed to deliver higher hole quality, more metres drilled per hour and the lowest possible cost per metre.
