Engcon, a Swedish tiltrotator manufacturer, is strengthening its collaboration with Komatsu, a construction equipment supplier, to improve efficiency and convenience for excavator operators. The partnership is aimed at simplifying installation and reducing overall costs for end users of Komatsu’s Dash 12 series.

In the new setup, engcon DC3 tiltrotators will integrate with Komatsu’s advanced systems to deliver greater precision and more responsive control. The combination is designed to enhance Komatsu Intelligent Machine Control 3.0 by introducing semi-automatic control of bucket rotation and tilting. Features also include posture hold control, which automatically maintains the attachment’s orientation. Connectivity is reinforced through engcon’s mobile app, remote support, and smart tool programs, giving operators better control during operations.

Komatsu’s Dash 12 series currently includes the PC220LC-12 and PC220LCi-12, with additional Dash 12 models expected to be added as they are released.
The new solution will be available on the market in January 2026.
