Caterpillar has confirmed that one of its CS12 Soil Compactors will operate with no one in its cab, during this week’s live demonstrations in ConExpo in Las Vegas. The event at Caterpillar’s Operator Stadium marks the first time the OEM has demonstrated this level of autonomous operation on a construction machine in a live show environment.
