You’ll find many of the products from the 2025 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide on the ubiquitous e-commerce platform.

Imagine that you’ve received an Amazon gift card in a stocking from Santa, a white elephant gift exchange or a distant aunt who wasn’t sure what your hobbies are these days. Amazon gift cards are daunting because, on an e-commerce platform so vast, everything you’ve ever wanted takes a vacation from your memory and you’re left scrolling in a sea of unfamiliar brands and knockoffs. In a recent Morning Consult poll, a large majority — 82% — of Americans prefer to buy Made in America products but struggle to find them in major retailers, like Amazon. After all, Amazon is not required to list the country of origin with the products that sellers to its site.

So, what can you do with that gift card? We’ve already made American-made giving simpler this season with the 2025 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide, and plenty of the companies on it also have Amazon storefronts. Our Amazon wish list, which you’ll find below, has everything from hunting and fishing gear and skincare products to apparel, kitchen items and home decor.

But: There are a few things to keep in mind while shopping on Amazon to make sure you finding the item you’re looking for.

First, know that sponsored posts will often take a top spot when you look up a product individually, so don’t always click the first thing you see.

Second, remember that some companies have their entire catalog available and some only list part of it, so before you scroll too far down make sure you’re still looking at the correct brand.

And that leads me to the last tip: Beware of knockoffs. Double check that the item you have selected for purchase is listed under the correct company by checking the “Brand” line near the title.

Got it? Good. You can learn more about each company below through our Made in America Holiday Gift Guide! And good luck with that gift card on Amazon; it’s a real jungle on there.
