You’ve led IAMPL through significant growth and transformation. How would you describe your leadership philosophy, and what key lessons have shaped your approach to building high-performance teams in a precision-driven industry?
(Seeni) At the core of IAMPL’s transformation are our people and our processes. Our leadership philosophy is anchored in building a shared vision—being trusted to consistently deliver best-in-class engine parts. Everything we do flows from that purpose.
We operate with clearly defined processes built around three non-negotiables: Zero Harm, Zero Defect, and Zero Loss. This discipline creates a foundation of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Equally important is our relentless focus on continuous improvement. High performance in a precision-driven industry is never a one-time achievement—it is the result of daily rigor, learning, and ownership at every level. That mindset has enabled us to deliver truly class-leading performance while building strong, accountable teams.

IAMPL has established itself as a benchmark in aerospace manufacturing. What core strengths or practices do you believe set IAMPL apart in terms of quality, innovation, and reliability?
(Seeni) IAMPL’s differentiation comes from the powerful combination of integrated manufacturing, dedicated people, and deeply embedded digital systems. Our end-to-end integrated facility gives us complete control over quality, cost, delivery and development speed, while our teams bring exceptional ownership and discipline to every operation.
We have built customized digital engineering and manufacturing systems that strengthen process design-to-delivery traceability, precision, and responsiveness. Complementing this is our Business Excellence Model, which drives a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
Together, these strengths enable IAMPL to deliver uncompromising quality, sustained innovation, and world-class reliability to our global aerospace customers.

How is IAMPL leveraging emerging technologies—such as automation, digital manufacturing, and AI-driven analytics—to enhance productivity and maintain global competitiveness?
(Seeni) At IAMPL, technology adoption is tightly aligned to our core objectives of Zero Harm, Zero Defect, and Zero Loss. We are deeply focused on embedding digital and AI-driven analytics across every stage of our operations to drive productivity, precision, and proactive decision-making.
We have recently used a combination of voice, image processing, and intelligent browsing technologies to significantly simplify and strengthen our First Article Inspection (FAIR) processes.
On the digital manufacturing front, our highly customized MES platform improves real-time data accuracy, traceability, and fool proofing across operations. We have also integrated Bluetooth-enabled systems to strengthen our Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) safety processes.
Every technology we adopt is purpose-driven—not for novelty, but to reinforce safety, quality, and operational excellence at a global benchmark level.

with the recent expansion and the new IAMPL facility, what strategic objectives are you aiming to achieve, and how will this growth shape the company’s long-term position in the global aerospace supply chain?
(Seeni) Our expansion is anchored in a clear vision—to evolve as a best-in-class partner delivering best-in-class performance to our global customers. The new IAMPL facility is a direct outcome of the trust our customers place in us and the growing scale and complexity of their requirements.
We work in close collaboration with our customers to co-create our technology and capacity expansion roadmap, ensuring that our investments are fully aligned with future programs, advanced manufacturing needs, and long-term supply chain resilience.
This growth strengthens our position in the global aerospace supply chain by enhancing our capability, scalability, and technological depth—positioning IAMPL not just as a supplier, but as a strategic, long-term partner to our customers.

Sustainability has become a core business priority across industries. How is IAMPL integrating environmental responsibility and sustainable manufacturing practices into its operations?
(Seeni) Sustainability is not an initiative at IAMPL—it is a core business priority embedded into our operating model through an integrated, long-term plan. Our facilities are largely powered by solar energy, supported by renewable energy through long-term power lease agreements. We also execute year-on-year energy conservation projects to continuously reduce our consumption and carbon footprint.
On water stewardship, we operate with a Zero Liquid Discharge philosophy. Treated water is fully recirculated, and at our Hosur facility we have implemented rainwater harvesting systems designed to absorb water equivalent to our total consumption.
In manufacturing, we actively use bio-lubricants, recirculate cutting tools, and prioritize reuse and recyclability across materials and processes. Sustainability was also a key design principle in our infrastructure—our Hosur facility incorporates reusable construction materials and has been awarded the IGBC Platinum Certification, reflecting our highest level of environmental commitment.
For us, sustainable manufacturing is essential to long-term resilience, customer trust, and responsible growth.

How do you see India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem evolving in the next decade, and what role will IAMPL play in strengthening India’s position as a global aerospace hub?
(Seeni) Over the next decade, India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem will witness rapid acceleration driven by increased domestic production, deep indigenization, and stronger integration into global supply chains—powered by initiatives such as Make in India. Aerospace will emerge as a strategic pillar of India’s manufacturing economy, contributing significantly to GDP growth while showcasing the nation’s technological capability on the global stage.
In this journey, IAMPL will play a critical role as a resilient and trusted partner in the global aerospace supply chain, producing technologically critical aeroengine components. We will evolve into a diversified Centre of Excellence with expanded facilities, advanced capabilities, a broader global customer base, and stronger digital systems—while consistently sustaining zero-defect performance.

(Seeni) In a precision-driven industry like aerospace, talent excellence is built through structure, discipline, and a culture of continuous learning. At IAMPL, every new hire goes through a rigorously designed pre-production training. This covers theoretical knowledge, technical competence, safety protocols, soft skills, and our code of conduct—culminating in certification tests before independent machine operation is permitted.
Beyond this, our Train–Transform–Take Off (3T) program is the backbone of our talent development framework. It focuses on structured skill-building, re-skilling and up-skilling, along with deepening digital capabilities. Through this journey, our people are first trained to meet role requirements, transformed with advanced competencies, and then enabled to ‘take off’ as high-performing contributors.
Finally, what advice would you give to emerging leaders in India’s manufacturing sector who aspire to build globally respected, sustainable organizations like IAMPL?
(Seeni) Emerging leaders in India’s manufacturing sector must anchor their organizations on zero-defect process design and an uncompromising ‘Right First Time’ culture.
