Potain has marked 30 years of tower crane manufacturing in China with a ceremony at its Zhangjiagang facility, which began production in 1996. The event was attended by employees, customers and partners, with Aaron Ravenscroft, president and CEO of Manitowoc, as guest of honour. Over three decades, the Zhangjiagang factory has supplied tower cranes to China’s domestic construction industry and to customers across emerging markets. Cranes produced at the facility have been used on major infrastructure projects, including the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in Guizhou, southwestern China, where a Potain MCT 385 was deployed.
