JCB Intellisense wins Hire Industry Product of the Year
JCB has won the Hire Industry Product of the Year award at the Hire Awards of Excellence for its Intellisense machine safety aid, fitted to its Loadall telescopic handlers. The award was presented in London by Hire Association Europe and the Event Hire Association. Intellisense uses artificial intelligence cameras to alert operators when pedestrians are detected in areas of risk. When pedestrians are detected in the area, the system delivers visual warnings inside the cab for the operator, alongside audio warnings both inside and outside the cab to alert the operator, the pedestrian and other site workers.
