Develon is reshaping its dealer territories in the Netherlands to tighten coverage and strengthen its market position. The changes took effect on 1 January 2026 and will be handled jointly by long-standing dealers Anema and Staad, alongside newly appointed partner ELM Groep.
Develon’s dealer reshuffle in the Netherlands comes with a clean three-way split, setting clear borders for sales and after-sales support. Arum-based Anema retains the northern and central-north provinces, covering Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, North Holland, Flevoland and Overijssel. ELM Groep, headquartered in Waddinxveen, takes responsibility for Gelderland, Utrecht, South Holland, Zeeland and North Brabant west of the A27. Staad, operating from Veghel, will cover Limburg and North Brabant east of the A27, using the motorway as the dividing line. Across their assigned territories, each partner will handle sales and service for the full Develon lineup, including crawler, wheeled and mini/midi excavators, wheel loaders, dozers and articulated dump trucks.

The revised dealer setup is built around clearer regional responsibility and tighter market coverage across the Netherlands, aimed at shortening response times and improving access to service support and parts. For customers and end users, the change is designed to be seamless, with no impact on day-to-day contacts or procedures.
Across the three territories, the dealers provide on-site support for emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance, backed by field and workshop engineers with long experience in construction equipment servicing.
Alongside existing contracts, Anema, ELM Groep and Staad offer service agreements and rental options, including machines equipped with job-specific attachments. They will continue to handle service and warranty work for Develon machines already operating in their regions, supported by stocks of genuine parts and accessories. Each dealer also keeps inventories of new and used Develon-branded machines to help reduce lead times when equipment is needed.
Develon has been gaining ground in the Netherlands in recent years, driven largely by demand for its wheeled excavators. The focus is now widening beyond that core segment. With the roll-out of the new 9 Series tracked excavators, the brand is targeting a stronger position in the crawler market too. One reference point being used is the DX260LC-9, which topped an independent comparison test in Norway, finishing ahead of other major manufacturers.
