Develon launches Series 9 excavators and wins SaMoTer Innovation Award
Develon has unveiled its new Series 9 intelligent crawler excavators in Italy for the first time, presenting the 37-tonne DX360LC-9 and 42-tonne DX400HD-9 at SaMoTer 2026 in Verona, where its E-Stop safety technology also took the Samoter Innovation Award. The two new models join the DX230LC-9 and DX260LC-9 in the Series 9 range, which is built on a redesigned platform combining Full Electric Hydraulic technology with integrated artificial intelligence. The platform targets gains across the engine, hydraulic system and operator interface, with a focus on fuel consumption, precision and human-machine interaction.
