Continental is expanding its off-highway tyre range with the new LD-Master Rock L5 and MPT 91, developed for extreme rock applications and mixed on-road/off-road use. The two tyres will be shown at Hillhead 2026, taking place from 23 to 25 June in Buxton.

The LD-Master Rock L5 has been developed for extreme rock applications, where tyre durability has a direct impact on machine uptime. The model features a 3-star casing, reinforced sidewalls and massive lugs, solutions designed to increase protection in severe conditions and reduce the risk of machine downtime caused by damage or premature wear.

The MPT 91, meanwhile, is aimed at fleets that alternate between road travel and off-road work. Continental presents it as a versatile solution for construction and industrial vehicles operating in mixed conditions, with a focus on traction, mileage and reliability.

In addition to the two new tyres, Continental will also present its Digital Solutions for tyre management. The offering includes pressure and temperature monitoring, maintenance alerts and tread wear analysis. Intelligent sensors are fitted as standard across Continental’s entire range of radial earthmoving tyres, giving operators access to real-time data to better plan maintenance and reduce unexpected downtime.

Visitors will also be able to see the Conti CrossTrac range, developed for fleets operating both on-road and off-road. The range is designed to combine on-road mileage and fuel efficiency with durability, traction and cut-and-chip resistance for demanding applications.

“Hillhead allows attendees a great opportunity to see our growing product portfolio up close, discuss applications directly with our team, and gain a hands-on understanding of the technology, quality, and performance behind the Continental range. This year is particularly exciting as we are introducing two new tyre solutions that directly address the challenges our customers face every day, whether that’s operating in extreme quarry environments or balancing on-road and off-road performance.”

Said Tom Godwin, Sales Manager Earth Mover, MPT & Military for UK & ROI.

At Hillhead, Continental will therefore bring not only new models for difficult applications, but also digital tools designed to help fleets better monitor how tyres perform in the field and manage maintenance more proactively.
