Volvo’s Scott Young appointed chair of ConExpo 2029
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has appointed Scott Young, head of region North America at Volvo Construction Equipment, as chair of ConExpo 2029. The announcement follows the 2026 edition of the show. “The 2026 show set new benchmarks for innovation, engagement and industry collaboration,” says Dana Wuesthoff, ConExpo show director. “We are thrilled to welcome Scott as chair for 2029. His vision and leadership will help us build on that momentum and deliver an even more impactful event for the construction community.” Young has participated in AEM leadership for many years as part of the association’s boards and committees.
