Volvo CE previews new equipment at CONEXPO 2026
The construction OEM will showcase new-generation machines, electrification and fleet technology aimed at uptime, productivity and safer site operations. www.volvoce.com CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 is set to be a major checkpoint for OEM updates in heavy equipment, especially around electrification, machine intelligence and fleet connectivity. Volvo Construction Equipment will use the show in Las Vegas (March 3–7, 2026) to present new and updated machines alongside services such as machine control and telematics. A major display of new-generation machines Volvo CE plans to bring nearly 20 machines to the show, including 14 new models or first-look units, positioning the booth as a consolidated view of the company’s recent platform refresh. The exhibit is framed around how machine updates and services can reduce downtime and improve operational performance for contractors and quarry and mining operators. The show follows a sustained product rollout cycle. Since May 2024, Volvo CE has launched all-new excavator, articulated dump truck (ADT) and wheel loader series, as well as additions across rigid haulers, soil and asphalt compactors, and electric models. CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 will be the first opportunity for many attendees to see these new-generation machines assembled in one location. Electrification and internal combustion side-by-side A central feature of the booth will be an operating pit, where visitors can run both internal combustion engine and electric excavator models. This setup is intended to make comparisons more practical for buyers evaluating electrification against duty-cycle requirements, site constraints, and charging and logistics planning. Beyond machines, the booth will include replica site offices intended to demonstrate how digital tools can be integrated into fleet and site workflows. This is positioned as relevant for operations moving toward a more connected jobsite and a more traceable digital supply chain for equipment performance data. Machine control and telematics positioned as jobsite enablers Volvo CE’s stand will also highlight services and connected technologies that support fleet and jobsite management. The exhibit includes machine control systems, site solutions, and advanced telematics, positioned as tools that can support smarter operation, reduce rework, and improve safety through more consistent jobsite data and fleet visibility. The booth is expected to be staffed by more than 100 product experts across a 55,000-square-foot exhibit space (Booth F24029, Festival Grounds), structured to support technical discussions and guided walkthroughs. New excavators and haulers scheduled for CONEXPO debuts Volvo CE is continuing its launch cadence into the show period. The company recently introduced several new excavator models, including the first compact and wheeled machines in its latest excavator series, as well as a new mid-size crawler excavator. On the hauling side, Volvo CE confirmed that the 60-ton A60 articulated hauler has joined its new-generation ADT lineup. Both the A60 and the 70-ton R70 rigid haul truck are scheduled to make their show debuts at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. Volvo CE also indicated that additional product launches are planned during the exhibition. www.volvoce.com Powered by Induportals Media Publishing
