UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS at EMO 2025

The new group UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS made its debut at EMO Hannover 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for production technology. The spectacular start to this new era included the unveiling of the entire booth, which meant that the entire booth was covered for an hour after the start of the fair. The stand was unveiled with a loud music show and the presentation of new products. For 50 years, EMO has been offering a unique platform every two years to gain a comprehensive overview of the global offerings of the industry. UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS was represented with its now 15 brands and presented no less than eight world firsts.

Both divisions of UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS were able to present new products at this year’s EMO in Hanover – UNITED GRINDING and UNITED MACHINING.

The UNITED MACHINING division impressed guests with a new machine design. Shortly after the merger, UNITED MACHINING was already able to present its machines in the new design. The machines feature the group’s familiar design. But it wasn’t just the new machine design that impressed visitors. New machines were also presented:

• CHARMILLES LASER X 500 (U) – a next-generation laser micro-machining solution
• AGIE CHARMILLES CUT S series – CUT S 400, CUT S 600, and CUT S 800 – the new S series completely redefines high-quality wire EDM with precision, productivity, and automation compatibility.
• MIKRON MILL MILL P 500 VHP (Very High Precision) – an ultra-precise milling machine in the field of micro-machining
• System 3R expands its automation portfolio with a new Transformer model, the T3-600. For handling loads up to 600 kg.

The UNITED GRINDING division also presented a number of innovations:

• STUDER S23 – the universal cylindrical grinding machine offers high precision, great flexibility, and modern grinding technology in a compact design at an attractive price-performance ratio.
• BLOHM PLANOMAT XM 408 – the universal machine for all grinding tasks involving flat and profile grinding
• WALTER VISION LASER – a laser processing machine for a wide range of applications for brazed tools in modern tool production

The new group was thus able to make a strong start toward a new shared future at EMO. Together, a powerful group with top-class names has been formed. Swiss and German machine industry in a class of its own.
