The telescopic crawler crane will support the Canadian company on future concrete formwork construction projects. Côté explains: “We already have an LTR 1060 and we’re very happy with it. To handle the growing demands, however, the 150-tonne crane is going to be the perfect addition to our fleet. Thanks to impressive load charts, it can carry out a wide range of tasks and yet is compact and flexible when it comes to moving around on site. The crane is perfect for our jobs.” Liebherr premiered the LTR 1150 in 2023. This powerful and flexible crane features cost-effective transport options and impresses with state-of-the-art technological features, as Côte highlights: ”The integration of VarioBase® technology from the LTM series is a key factor behind our purchase.” The VarioBase® system determines the best possible lifting capacity in real time, depending on the fixed track width and variable rotation angle. This results in significant lifting capacity benefits, particularly for large radii and reduced track widths. Strong partnership LJP Construction has been a customer of Liebherr since 2009 and now has some 21 tower cranes, twelve mobile cranes, a crawler crane and other products from the group such as concrete pumps, wheel loaders and telescopic handlers. Says Côte: “Liebherr – like us – is a family-run firm. We truly believe that Liebherr manufactures the best products in many sectors and we are inspired by the company’s quality and efficiency. What’s more, the personal contact and support from the Liebherr team is incredibly valuable.” Côté is proud of his company, which now employs over 400 people and has an excellent reputation for complex and tall formwork in particular. LJP Construction operates on construction sites in the Montreal region. www.liebherr.com Powered by Induportals Media Publishing
