MRS Electronic’s Applics Studio development environment will now serve as the single programming platform for all its controllers and gateways, fully replacing the company’s Developers Studio software. The Rottweil-based supplier’s decision to standardise on Applics Studio brings its entire product range – including 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit controllers and gateways – under one development environment. Previously, Developers Studio had been used primarily for programming 8-bit and 16-bit controllers. The software provides graphical programming capabilities in accordance with IEC 61131-3 standard, as well as C programming options.
