Michelin North America unveiled the Michelin XHA3 at ConExpo 2026, introducing a new earthmover tyre developed for loaders and graders working under higher payloads and longer duty cycles. The model succeeds the Michelin XHA2, with upgrades focused on load capacity and ton-per-hour (TKPH) performance, and a redesigned tread pattern intended for more demanding jobsite conditions.
“Construction equipment continues to evolve with higher loads, longer duty cycles and greater productivity expectations”
Said Yahn Heurlin, Vice President of Marketing at Michelin North America, during the launch.

The XHA3 also streamlines Michelin’s range in this category, replacing multiple existing products, including XHA2, XADN+, XAD65 and XLD. Michelin presented the introduction as its most significant update in the segment in more than a decade. Designed for heavy-duty earthmoving operations, the tyre targets fleets where heat management, payload handling and wear life remain decisive factors, with TKPH continuing to serve as a key benchmark for matching tyres to duty cycles.
