Laser Technologies Limited (“the Company”), an integrated laser and sheet metal processing solutions provider, has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the EMERGE Platform of National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE Emerge) for an initial public offering of up to 1,07,00,000 equity shares of face value ₹5 each.
The Issue is entirely a fresh issue of equity shares, with no offer for sale component. The Net Proceeds are proposed to be utilised towards capital expenditure for setting up a proposed manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra (up to ₹239.82 lakhs), repayment or prepayment, in full or part, of certain borrowings (up to ₹1,404.04 lakhs), funding working capital requirements (up to ₹3,077.39 lakhs) and general corporate purposes.

Key Business Information
- Business model: Operations span five segments: Distribution (73.09% of FY2026 revenue from operations), Assembly, Contract Manufacturing, Services and Spare Parts. Machinery is sourced from principal suppliers in China, Germany and the USA, welding and marking machines are assembled under the Company’s own “PhotonX” brand, and CNC press brakes are contract manufactured to the Company’s designs.
- Customer base: Served over 3,000 customers across India and overseas as on the date of the DRHP. Repeat customers contributed 73.28% of revenue from operations in FY2026, while the top ten customers contributed 22.09%, compared with 38.00% in FY2024.
- Order book: As on September 15, 2026, the order book comprised 109 orders aggregating to ₹4,024.80 lakhs.
- Service network and aftermarket: Sales and service offices in Navi Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Gurugram, with over 70 service engineers across India and in-house repair capabilities for laser sources and cutting heads. Revenue from the Services and Spare Parts segments was ₹2,367.73 lakhs in FY2026 (13.10% of revenue from operations), compared with ₹1,517.83 lakhs (8.68%) in FY2024.
- Skill development: Operates “Laser Gurukul”, an in-house training academy for laser machine operators and engineers, and has a Memorandum of Understanding dated April 26, 2025 with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune.
- Promoters: Rakesh Kumar Agarwal (Chairman and Managing Director; 15 years in the laser systems and technology industry) and Pankti Rakesh Kumar Agarwal (Whole Time Woman Director; 10 years in the laser industry). The Company had 163 employees as of August 31, 2026.

Revenue from operations grew by 2.49% in FY2026, while EBITDA and profit after tax grew by 46.53% and 39.49% respectively. EBITDA margin improved to 10.85% in FY2026 from 7.59% in FY2025, and PAT margin to 6.97% from 5.12%. Net worth grew at a CAGR of 92.66% to ₹2,963.06 lakhs as at March 31, 2026. FY2026 figures are consolidated and include the Company’s 60% subsidiary, Autometrix Automation Private Limited, incorporated on May 16, 2025.

According to the Mordor Intelligence report cited in the DRHP, the India laser market is projected to grow from USD 2.16 billion in 2026 to USD 4.93 billion by 2031, a CAGR of 17.94%, as semiconductor fabs, EV battery lines and solar-cell plants embed lasers across production processes. Industry data cited in the DRHP places India’s laser cutting machines market at approximately USD 0.5 billion in 2025, expected to grow at about 10.9% CAGR.
