Komatsu to acquire Swedish forestry machinery manufacturer Malwa Forest
Komatsu has announced the acquisition of Malwa Forest AB, a Swedish manufacturer of forestry machinery specialising in cut-to-length thinning equipment. The deal is being made through Komatsu’s wholly-owned subsidiary Komatsu Forest AB, headquartered in Umeå, Sweden, and is scheduled to complete on 1 April 2026, subject to the completion of all required closing procedures and conditions. Malwa Forest, headquartered in Hyssna, Sweden, manufactures lightweight and compact wheeled harvesters and forwarders designed for thinning operations.
