Since May 2022, Mohawk Valley Mining has been operating a quarrying company in Alabama. The new company supplies high-quality limestone products for road construction and trades in larger stone formats. The location in the border region of two states brings a unique feature that presents the company with a real challenge: Alabama and Florida have different specifications for grain size and composition of the processed material for road construction. With this in mind, Managing Director Joey Rutkowski and his team had to design a setup in which different specifications could be efficiently achieved. A great solution with good collaboration
