Hitachi Global Air Power will attend ConExpo 2026 in Las Vegas with its new line of electric portable air compressors. The company will show how this range is designed to deliver improved performance while also helping rental and construction customers reduce operating costs and respond to sustainability expectations.
“Innovation for us starts with listening to our customers. We’re expanding our portfolio of reliable, durable, and high-performing electric portable air compressors to meet a wide range of customer needs.”
Said Hideki Fujimoto, President and CEO of Hitachi Global Air Power.
Among the highlights referenced by the company is the Sullair E1035H, previously showcased at ConExpo 2023. It is a completely new compressor with several patent-pending features, including swing-out coolers to simplify cleaning and maintenance, and condensate management technology that helps eliminate the need for additional disposal equipment. The model was also designed to increase operator safety and integrates the exclusive Sullair Electronic Spiral Valve (ESV), described as a solution to improve efficiency. In addition, ConExpo will also feature Hitachi Global Air Power’s first electric portable air compressor from 1979, refurbished and still operating, with more than 53,000 operating hours.
Much of the advanced technology developed for the Sullair E1035H has been carried over into the more compact Sullair E425H, introduced in 2025. The unit delivers 425 CFM at 150 psi of compressed air and is aimed at rental and construction applications, covering a wide range of uses.

Also in 2025, the company launched the Sullair OFE1550, an oil-free electric portable air compressor that expands its electric offering and experience in oil-free air. The product delivers 1,550 CFM at 125 PSI of Class 0 oil-free air, intended for applications such as oil and gas and as back-up plant air in any context where air purity is considered critical. Like previous models, the OFE1550 is designed with the operator in mind, featuring easier maintenance, simplified start-up with a Wye-Delta starter, and enhanced safety by positioning electrical connections and discharge components away from the operator. The unit also includes a smart auto-lubrication system that automatically supplies the motor with the ideal amount of lubrication to maximise performance and protect against premature wear.
“Our next generation electric air compressors were developed to meet real operational demands – delivering the performance and air power our customers expect while helping them to operate more efficiently and responsibly.”
Said Jerel Cole, Global Portable Product Manager at Hitachi Global Air Power.
Event and presentation at the booth
Hitachi Global Air Power will host a product demonstration and a presentation focused on the business case for electric portable air compressors, including sustainability benefits and customer insights. The session is scheduled at the Sullair booth during ConExpo 2026 on March 3 at 3:00 p.m. The event will feature remarks from Roger Adkins, Vice President, Air Compressor Business Manager at Ring Power, described as a customer and co-innovator of the Sullair E1035H.
As a business unit of Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi Global Air Power also points to the group’s goal of building a carbon-neutral value chain by 2050, a goal supported by the new line of electric portable compressors, which aims to deliver efficient, high-performing compressed air solutions in response to market demand.
