Epiroc, Genesis, and Kanamoto join Open-S Alliance

Epiroc (Sweden), Genesis Attachments (U.S.), and Kanamoto Co. Ltd. (Japan) have officially joined the Open-S Alliance. The Open-S industry standard for automatic couplers continues to gain supporters for its standardized coupler interface for the construction and demolition industry. With the standardization, excavators can use work tools from any brand. The result is a more efficient and flexible use of machines and attachments. During 2025 the Open-S Alliance has grown significantly with nine new companies joining the organization and now has 23 members globally. New members bring expanded options for attachment interchangeability
