Continental names Rebecca Shedden General Sales Manager for Commercial Tyres in the UK & Ireland

Rebecca Shedden is the new General Sales Manager for Commercial Tyres in the UK & Ireland. Alongside the appointment, Grant Willman, currently Sales Director Truck UK and Ireland, will take on responsibility for Commercial Specialty Tyres. Continental will update his title to Sales Director Commercial Tyres UK and Ireland, signalling a broader brief that now covers the entire commercial tyre portfolio rather than truck tyres alone.

The company said the newly created role is intended to bring the Truck Regional Sales and Commercial Specialty Tyres Sales teams under a single leadership structure. By consolidating the two groups, Continental aims to improve coordination across segments and strengthen support for customers operating mixed fleets and specialist equipment.

Shedden steps into the role with 27 years at Continental Tyres across commercial functions spanning truck, fleet and speciality products. Most recently, she led the Commercial Specialty Tyres business in the UK and Ireland, working with customers in demanding applications, including earthmover and port tyre operations, where performance, uptime and technical support are critical.

In her new role, Rebecca will be responsible for driving sales strategy and performance across the full Commercial Tyres portfolio, while creating stronger synergies between truck and speciality tyre operations.
