Whether he loves to build, grill, garden or simply relax, these Made in America gift ideas offer something for every kind of dad.

Father’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate the dads, grandpas and father figures who work hard, show up for their families and rarely ask for much in return.

If you’re looking for a gift that’s a little more thoughtful this year, I’ve rounded up some Made in America ideas for every kind of dad. From the guy who’s happiest in the workshop or garden to the one who loves golfing, fishing, grilling or simply putting his feet up at the end of the day, these are gifts he’ll actually use and enjoy.

For the Workshop Dad

Montana Brand Tools: If dad’s happy place is in the workshop, a Drill & Drive Set from Montana Brand Tools is the kind of gift he’ll actually put to use. It’s practical for everyday projects and tends to get reached for often once it’s in the toolbox.

Vermont Glove: For the dad who’s always working on something, a good pair of leather gloves is one of those simple but really useful gifts. Whether he’s in the workshop, out in the garden or splitting wood for the next campfire, they help to keep his hands protected through it all.

Channellock: If dad already has a pair of these blue-handled tools, he probably knows exactly where they are at all times. If he doesn’t, Channellock is one of those classic American tool brands (made in Pennsylvania) that shows up in just about every well-used toolbox for a reason.

For the Sports Fan

Where I’m From: Help dad rep his favorite team or home state with super soft shirts from Where I’m From, made in Ohio. They’re the kind of shirts he’ll probably end up wearing on repeat, and there’s a good chance he’ll want another once he tries one. You can find them at DSW, Dick’s Sporting Goods or online.

Gameday IronWorks: If dad loves being surrounded by his team’s colors, Gameday IronWorks makes metal wall art he can hang in a bar, garage, office or man cave.

For the Dad Who Takes Pride in His Ride

Weathertech: For dads who spend a lot of time on the road, Weathertech floor mats are custom-fit and help protect against muddy boots, wet weather and daily messes. It’s one of those practical gifts he might not think to buy for himself, but will appreciate every time he gets in the car.

For the Active Dad

Rogue Fitness: Whether dad is getting in a workout, coaching the kids or tackling projects around the house, Rogue Fitness is one of those go-to brands for both training gear and apparel.

Coed Collective: If Dad could use a simple wardrobe upgrade, Coed Collective has easy, comfortable staples like the Chore Coat, Henley and Lightweight Crew. They’re the kind of pieces he can wear out just about anywhere.

For the Gardener

Peep Show Video Birdhouse: Give dad a front-row seat to nature. This birdhouse has a built-in camera that streams live video from inside the nest, so he can watch birds build, hatch and raise their young right from his phone. It’s thoughtfully designed with bird health in mind and was even featured on Shark Tank.

Red Pig Tools: If dad would rather spend Saturday in the garden, Red Pig Tools offers hand-forged garden tools made in Oregon. From trowels to weeders to digging tools, each piece is made from steel and fitted with hardwood handles that feel solid and built to last. (And read our profile is this company here!)

For the Golfer

Whim Golf: If dad talks about golf as much as he actually plays, Whim Golf is worth a look. Their comfortable merino wool shirts, hats and socks are designed with the course in mind and make it easy for him to stay comfortable through all 18 holes.

Bettinardi: Known for their premium putters, Bettinardi clubs are made near Chicago and are a favorite among serious golfers.

Titleist: The Pro V1 and Pro V1x are some of the most popular golf balls out there for a reason. Made in Massachusetts, they’re a simple but always appreciated gift that most golfer dads will actually use.

For the Fisherman

Humminbird: These fish finders and marine electronics help dad spend less time searching and more time fishing. They use sonar technology to map what’s below the surface and can help locate fish, making time on the water a little more productive and a lot more enjoyable.

For the Grill Master

Blues Hog: For the dad who takes barbecue seriously, Blues Hog seasonings are an easy way to bring big flavor to backyard cookouts. The dry rubs work well on everything from ribs and brisket to burgers and chicken.

Cutco: The Cutco BBQ set is a solid option for dads who spend a lot of time around the grill.

Steelmade Flat Top: Turn dad’s existing grill into a flat-top cooking surface, perfect for smash burgers, breakfast, fajitas, stir fries and more. It’s a fun gift for the dad who’s always looking for another reason to fire up the grill.

For the Dad Who Loves to Cook

Artisan Oak: These whiskey barrel mugs are made from white oak wood, the same type used to age whiskey. Each one is lightly charred on the inside, which is said to enhance the flavor and bring out subtle notes you might not notice in a regular glass. These make a cool gift for the dad who enjoys to sip a drink at the end of the day.

Fletchers’ Mill: Made in Maine, these salt and pepper mills are simple kitchen tools Dad can use every day.

Mr. Ice Bucket: An ice bucket is one of those things dad doesn’t think about until he needs it. It’s handy for gatherings, backyard dinners or just keeping things cold on the weekend. It’s something that would get use year round and end up getting used more than you’d expect.

AeroPress: For the dad who takes his coffee seriously, the AeroPress is an easy way to make a good cup at home, at work, or while traveling. It’s compact, easy to use, and great for slow mornings at home to quick cups on the go.

Appalachian Cast Iron: Made in Tennessee, Appalachian Cast Iron skillets are the kind of kitchen staple that can last for years and become part of everyday family meals. They also have the Great American Waffle Iron, which is a fun gift idea for dad, too.

For the Dad Who Could Use a Little Pampering

Doc Spartan: Doc Spartan offers soaps, balms, and skincare products made for dads who work hard and play hard. A great way to add a little self-care into his routine.

Dr. Squatch: If dad is ready to upgrade from the same old bottle of cologne, Dr. Squatch has a variety of scents, like Castaway Cove or Midnight Birch. You can also find them at Target.

For the Dad Who Has Everything

Photo Barn: If you’re shopping for the dad who insists he doesn’t need anything, a personalized photo gift can be one of the most meaningful options. Photo Barn creates custom gifts made in Tennessee using family photos, vacation memories, and special moments that are sure to make him smile.

Stitchco: A new pillow might not be the most exciting gift at first glance, but it’s one of those things dad will enjoy every night. Stitchco designs pillows for different sleep styles, with options for side, back, or stomach sleepers and uses natural materials made in Arkansas.

Red Land Cotton: Red Land Cotton offers soft, comfortable sheets made from cotton grown on a family farm in Alabama. It’s a great comfort dad might not think he needs, but will definitely notice.
