Caterpillar passes $20 billion in quarterly sales for the first time
Caterpillar has reported sales and revenues of $20.5 billion for the second quarter of 2026, a 24% increase on the $16.6 billion recorded in the same period of 2025 and the first quarter in which the company has passed $20 billion. The manufacturer says the increase was driven primarily by higher sales volume of $3.1 billion and favourable price realisation of $595 million, with strong order rates and a growing backlog across its three primary segments.
